Paul and Hipster Diptych

Here is a new work , that I have made. It contains two paintings in one, and I thikn you can see how they have some thematic links in between the two of them

The piece on the left is what I have gone ahead and titled "Paul and Silas in Prison," and is a continuer of my well-publicized series about various kinds of biblical theme. This is Paul and Silas singing and giving praise to God even in a very bleak imprisonment period where they do not know how to get out of jail.

On the right is a hipster, who is a member of a sub culture that is considered a very honorable role to play, but is he really in a position of honor? Very very difficult to say, and I am glad that I am not in the difficult position of answering the questions that I raise (that's why it's good to be an artist).
